The Centralized Database of Legal Information of the Kyrgyz Republic — the Ministry of Justice's official portal for the country's entire body of law. Full-text search across 200,000+ legal acts, the state registry of regulatory acts, document status tracking and side-by-side comparison of revisions. My largest project — built over six months.
The Ministry of Justice needed a single public system holding the whole legal corpus of the Kyrgyz Republic — over 200,000 acts — that any citizen, lawyer or official could search and actually use. It had to handle fuzzy full-text search with filters (date, number, legal section, active / repealed status), present long legal documents readably, track how each act changed over time, and let users compare two revisions of a law line by line — all bilingual (Kyrgyz / Russian) and fast at that scale.
I built the front end on React with Material UI and the React ecosystem, backed by a C# / .NET API over the legal-acts database. An advanced search with fuzzy matching and multi-facet filters, a clean reader for full act texts, a state-registry browser, status indicators on every document, and a revision-comparison view that diffs two versions of a law side by side. Bilingual throughout and tuned for a catalog of 200,000+ documents. From start to launch — six months.
