E-Government Portal (eGov.kg)
egov.kg — the centralized portal of information and public services of the Kyrgyz Republic. A single national entry point: a searchable catalog of government services by category, live macroeconomic indicators, an interactive regional map, a directory of ministries and agencies, and a national news feed. Built in a month.
The country needed one official front door to the state — a portal where any citizen could find public services, ministries, live economic data and news in one place. It had to organize a huge, heterogeneous set of content and services into a clear, fast, trustworthy interface, work for the whole country, and hold up to the traffic and scrutiny of a national government site — all bilingual.
I built the front end on Next.js with Mantine, Emotion and Tailwind: a service catalog with search and categories, a live macroeconomic dashboard, an interactive map of Kyrgyzstan's regions, Swiper-driven news and event feeds, and a ministries-and-agencies directory. A Java / Spring backend served the content and service data. Structured for the scale and speed of a national portal — from start to launch in one month.
