The online scientific bulletin of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University — an academic journal published by volume and issue. Each issue has its cover, a full table of contents, article listings with abstracts, downloadable PDFs and an ISSN. Built in a week.
The university's research journal needed to move online — a place to publish issues volume by volume, list every article with its authors and abstract, let readers download the full issue or a single paper, and keep a browsable archive, all in a clean academic layout the editors could maintain themselves.
I built the journal site on PHP with a Bootstrap layout and jQuery interactions: issue pages with cover, metadata and full table of contents, article entries with abstracts and PDF downloads, and an archive across volumes. Simple for the editorial team to keep up to date — and shipped in a week.
